All material and images contained on the MRDF website are covered by UK and International Copyright laws.

MRDF images should only be used with permission and in such a way that does not undermine the aims of MRDF. There is no charge for the use of images to promote the work of MRDF (e.g. church websites or newsletters). Permission must be requested to use an MRDF image for any other purpose, for which a charge may be made or a donation requested. MRDF images should not be altered in any way without permission. Unless otherwise stated, all photos are copyright of MRDF and, when used, should be credited: © MRDF/name of photographer.

Resources and text on this website can be used for non-commercial purposes by churches, schools or similar groups without need for copyright permission. However any material used should be credited to the Methodist Relief and Development Fund.

Where copyright for text on this website belongs to a third party this will be stated alongside the text. Permission to use the material should then be requested directly from the third party.

Photo Policy

MRDF believes in the need to promote justice, fairness, respect and solidarity in the world, and it seeks to adhere to these principles in the way it uses images in its communications. Images are chosen with the desire to uphold the dignity of the people with whom we and our partners work, as well as improving public understanding of the reality of the situations they face. Wherever possible, people depicted have given permission for their images and stories to be used. A copy of our full photo policy is available upon request.
