Week one – What power do we have?

Famers in poor countries need fair prices for their produce to survive. These prices are heavily dependent on financial markets which are often unregulated, causing havoc with global food prices. Find out what you can do to make a difference to farmers in some of the world's poorest countries.

Week two – Unscrupulous use of power

The UK government now owns 85% of the Royal Bank of Scotland and yet the bank continues to invest heavily in oil, coal and gas projects around the world, contributing to climate change as well as human rights abuses. Call on the government to take action to ensure that public money is not used to invest in projects that hurt people and the environment.

Week four – The power of words

Add your voice to the call to investigate past lending in order to uncover unjust debts. The very poorest countries in the world are still paying over 4 million dollars EVERY HOUR to the rich world, repaying debts which in many cases arose from irresponsible or self-interested lending.
